European shares fell on the closing session as Wall Street fell and pressure from the euro strengthened against most major currencies.

The euro rose 0.45% to $ 1.154 and the European currency fell 0.21% to 130.07 yen, at 7:02 pm Beirut time.
On the economic front, UK GDP grew 0.7% in the three-month period ending in August.
At the end of the session, the STOXX Europe 600 index fell 1.61% or six points to 367 points.
The British FTSE fell by 92 points to 7145 points. The German DAX fell 264 points to 11712 points. The French CAC index fell by 112 points to 5206 points. point
