Duquesne visits Hariri: Strong expectation from the international community of a government that can implement CEDRE decisions

NNA - Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri received this afternoon at the Center House the French Ambassador and Interministerial Delegate to the Mediterranean, Pierre Duquesne.

At the end of the meeting, Duquesne said:

"I am Pierre Duquesne, the Interministerial Delegate for the Mediterranean, who has prepared the CEDRE Conference and is monitoring its follow up. The meeting I had with the Prime Minister-designate and the other talks I had in Beirut with government structures working with bilateral and multilateral donors show that everyone wants to implement the decisions taken at the April 6 conference on the three fronts that formed the equilibrium of the conference: the implementation of infrastructure projects that had been presented by the Lebanese government at the time and that should be prioritized, the implementation of the funding for these projects and the implementation of the reforms.
